True Resources LLC was formed to identify, aggregate, and offer, suitable properties for the development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects.

In our experience, energy development companies receive numerous leads related to available properties – the preponderance of which are unsuitable for even initial consideration.  It is inefficient for development companies to spend time sourcing viable sites or sorting through and evaluating unsolicited property tenders. True Resources was created to source, assemble, and offer blocks of properties for lease designed specifically to provide viable sites for immediate development, construction, and long-term operation.

Dan Chase, the General Manager, brings deep transaction experience in renewable energy in general and solar photovoltaic energy in particular.  The ability to source properties by building relationships and quickly assessing a site’s viability for further development is extensive.  Along with that, Dan possess a thorough and hands-on understanding of the power generation project development process.

The signing into California law the Clean Energy and Pollution Reduction Act of 2015 increases the renewable energy portion of all electric energy delivered to customers in the State to 50% by 2030.  This may require a substantial addition of power from renewable sources over that time period.  True, is well-positioned to source viable sites for additional project development, construction and long-term operation.

Daniel Chase

Dan developed Ture Resources while assisting with his sons company Lyric Energy with the viability analysis of the properties, provides the specific industry knowledge base and delivers the project development and transactional background.  Dan worked 39 years in the energy industry and over the past ten years as a Contract Negotiator, purchasing renewable energy (solar, wind, and geothermal) for Southern California Edison.  Earlier, Dan worked for eighteen years as a project developer in international power generation for Edison Mission Energy, Generation Ventures Associates (a subsidiary of British Gas), and CNG International (acquired by Dominion Resources) pursuing power generation projects in China, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Transcaucasia, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Finland, Sweden, and Hawaii.  Dan also worked for four years in project finance as a Petroleum Engineer for Wells Fargo Bank, Energy/Utilities Division and five years as an oil & gas drilling engineer for the California State Lands Commission.
